These menu items are pretty decent and also 100 percent plant-based.
Ma Po Tofu
Crispy silken tofu, sweet-spicy red chili sauce, with steamed broccoli. You can choose white and brown rice or lo mein noodles. Unfortunately, fried rice isn’t vegan. Also, you can have extra tofu and broccoli, and you can make it extra spicy.
Buddha’s Feast
Tofu, savory white sauce, garlic, green beans, mushrooms, cabbage, broccoli, and carrots. You can choose white, brown, or noodle rice as a side. Furthermore, you can order it with extra tofu, peas, mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, and spicy.
Stir-Fried eggplant
My personal favorite vegan dish at P.F. Changs is the Chinese eggplant with sweet chili soy glaze, green onion, and garlic. It comes with white, brown rice or noodles for extra.
Edamame
Young soybeans are a must-have side dish at an Asian restaurant. They are super healthy, super tasty, and nourishing. Nothing else is better than steamed fresh edamame with salt.
P.F. Changs as a vegan in a nutshell
While I would expect more from an Asian-styled restaurant, still isn’t that bad as a vegan at P.F. Changs. There are many tremendous missed opportunities since many dishes contain hardly removable eggs. Still, there are a few decent vegan meal items on the menu. Ma Po Tofu, Stir-fried eggplant, and Buddha’s Feast are naturally vegan and quite great. Also, there are a few great side dish options, such as Edamame. As I mentioned before, P.F. Chang’s vegan options aren’t as good as Pei Wei’s, but it is worth a visit, in my opinion.
