About the Illustrator:
Sarah Kiser is a full-time, self-taught artist living her dream of creating art. Infusing layers of richly textured colour with elements of whimsy, her artwork presents imagery that is at once hauntingly beautiful yet fiercely evocative – touching the viewer in a deeply personal way. A vegetarian since childhood, Sarah became a vegan and animal rights activist when she uncovered the cruelty behind the dairy and egg industry. She bases much of her artwork on animals and animal rights, hoping to inspire compassion in those who see her artwork.

A vegetarian for over 20 years and vegan for 4 years, Carol offers her photography skills to help give a voice to the billions of animals who are exploited in the name of food, fashion, entertainment and research. Carol works with various animal rights and rescue groups in Brisbane, Australia and her images are often seen in magazines, brochures and online.
