In Australia we have a great range of vegan products and various vegan stores online and with shop fronts. Where once there was only the Cruelty Free Shop and Vegan Perfection, now we have over ten online and store fronts who sell only vegan products. You can now buy a lot of vegan goods in health food stores and in supermarkets but it's always good to support the vegan owned and operated ones! Here's a list of them:
I have many how-to videos on the VLV! YouTube channel, two of them show how to make dairy milk alternatives using cruelty-free, plant ingredients - plus not harming any cows in the making. I have raw Almond milk as well as Soy milk videos that I hope you enjoy.

Saturday was the first of the Green Earth Group Bake Sales at West End markets, Brisbane as part of the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale that took place this year from 21 - 29 April. There are many different groups taking part from all corners of the globe. Food, in particular sweet foods, are a great way to show the mainstream that vegans have many choices to chose from to eat as well as some vegan outreach and education at the same time. Inspired by Jeremy's zine workshop from last weekend, I decided to create an 8-page zine from one piece of A4 paper - instead of my usual handout. Here's the cover:

Peter from the Online Associates Degree shared their latest infographic with me on the truth behind red meat for those people wanting to study nutrition or similar professions. The title of the infographic Eat Meat & Die is a bit in your face, the graphics aren't subtle, the references are credited. Overall I think the impact is great.
Saturday night it was Miranda's birthday and we celebrated at Brisbane's place-to-be-seen Cloudland with a 3 course vegan meal especially created for the 11 of us. Here's the gals (and Paul):

On Saturday, Renata and I ran the first of the Green Earth Group Food Outreach events for this year in Brisbane. It also neatly coincided with MeatOut. I made a flyer to hand out to people on the day which had vegan recipes and more information:

I've just uploaded a new video featuring 3 easy to prepare, vegan, pizza topping ideas. I'm not much of a fan of cheese and much prefer to use soy cream cheese spread on the base rather than cheese completely covering the top of a pizza. There's a great animated film from 1982 The Plague Dogs based on the the 1977 novel of the same name by Richard Adams. This film was directed by Martin Rosen who also directed Watership Down - another animated film based on Richard Adam's novel. A friend of mine drew my attention to this film due to the fact that vivisection and animal cruelty are main messages in the story.
